Grocery prices in NZ are insane so I built an app to fix it. Need Kiwi beta testers!
Hey r/androidapps!
I built an app that tells you which NZ supermarket is cheapest before you go shopping. Sounds simple but nobody has done it properly here yet and grocery prices in New Zealand are genuinely out of control.
Its called ButterUp and here is what it does:
Compare prices across every major NZ supermarket side by side on one screen. No more guessing, no more getting to the checkout and realising you could have saved $20 by going somewhere else.
Smart shopping lists that track your running total as you add items so you always know what you are spending before you hit the checkout.
AI shopping assistant that builds your grocery list for you. Just tell it what you need and it finds the best options.
Track your weekly and monthly savings so you can actually see the difference it makes.
We just got approved by Google to launch on the Play Store which is massive for us but before we go live we need beta testers!
Are you based in New Zealand or Australia and use Android? Please be our beta tester! Its completely free, you get full access and you would genuinely be helping a solo developer get this across the line.
All you need to do is send your Google account email to hello@butterup.app or DM me and I will get you set up straight away.
Check us out first at butterup.app, already live on iPhone!
Please help us out, we would love to have you on board!
