i want to give up using AI but i don't know how

this post is specifically for people who are very against AI:

so i just heard from someone that AI can make people stupid (obviously that's oversimplified), and i kind of already knew that but still... i've never used AI to write an entire essay for me, but i use it all the time to proofread my writing and give me suggestions on what to improve on. i use it in math and science when i really don't understand something (which is often). could i try and take more time to understand what i'm doing? possibly, but sometimes, i can look at the same thing for twenty minutes and still not get what's going on.

also i'm a MAJOR perfectionist and an overthinker. AI reassures me that i'm doing a good job or it tells me if i'm not doing a good job. i want to have an A+ in all of my classes. and AI is security for that. what are some alternatives to AI so that i can still succeed in all of my classes without losing important critical thinking skills?
