I’m 19 and after several sexting experiences I’ve never been a victim to this. I matched with someone on tinder while on holiday and we got messaging. They asked where I am from and my hobbies etc etc. it felt like a perfectly normal conversation. We were texting a while and later on in the day it turned spicier. Ofcourse at this point I thought “well if they show themself first I should be fine. Anyway they asked to see my dick and balls and told me to touch myself etc etc. next thing I know she hung up, sent me the screen recording and screenshots of every follower I have on instagram threatening to send it to them if I don’t pay her. She asked for$100 but ofcourse at this point I’m not paying anything. I panicked and thought about paying. But NEVER EVER EVR PAY. AS soon as you pay they know you will pay again and again and again. I decided to post a story exposing to everyone the situation and my friends were super supportive. That way if anything was sent they’d know not to open it and it felt like I had control of the situation.She kept-threatening to send it even after I said I wouldn’t pay and that she should just do it anyway. Hours have passed and still no one has received anything. The truth is these people are targeting hundreds of people at once. At the end of the day, they are doing this to blackmail people to make money, not because they enjoy leaking peoples nudes. Hours have gone by and still no one has received anything. Simply put these people don’t have the time to waste messaging everyone some strangers nudes. They’re after money. Lesson, never send nudes with your face in, no matter who it is, especially if you haven’t met them. Also never pay. Paying won’t stop it because the truth is it isn’t going to happen. No matter how much they threaten.for me they been sent a screenshot asking one of my friends if they “wanted to se_____masturbating”. Yet again they didn’t send it. I know it is a painful situation, probably the-most panicked I’ve ever been but just don’t stress. Your nudes won’t be leaked because they don’t benefit at all from leaking it. As soon as it happened I told my parents, obviously this was an embarrassing conversation but it had to be done. The more people you tell, the less the threat scares you, and the less of an impact the situation has on your life.
