Why has there been so much negativity about Nioh 3 for the last 2-3 days?

Feels a lot like Ninja Gaiden 4's reception, where discussion was extremely positive and then suddenly people started being heavily negative about it, saying how it wasn't like Ninja Gaiden 2 and thus bad etc.

For me, Nioh 3 is definitely a GotY contender. I'm having just as much fun, probably even more, as I did with Nioh 1 and 2. Absolutely excellent game imo.
