Has anyone experienced anything like this? (Chicago Sniffies, stalking/ harassment, possible police entrapment?)

Sorry in advance if this isn’t the best thread for this type of thing, let me know if there’s a better place!

So I was in my car at a local park area which happens to be a location on Sniffies. I am not above cruising per se, but this particular incident, I was minding my own business, killing some time before a store opened. I know the risk of unwanted male attention that comes with going to a place like that alone, but as someone who is generally very discreet and respectful of my surroundings, what happened surprised me.

First, I noticed a law enforcement vehicle pull up some distance away from me but facing me from the side, perpendicular to the other parking spots. Then, a man in a car pulled up between us. He stared at me, made it obvious, the usual thing. I wasn’t interested, wasn’t looking at all, and then eventually moved my car. He followed me immediately, parked beside me, and began thrusting his hips up in the air, making crude, indiscreet gestures. I decided to move my car again and he followed me again. His energy was threatening, not going to lie. Did not look like a nice guy.

I wondered if it was an undercover cop, since why would anyone in their right mind try to cruise a guy right in front of the law enforcement vehicle? I mean, this guy could have just been a local drug-addled incel who didn’t take rejection well, but it was like barely 10am. The indiscretion, the lack of cruising etiquette, the crass nature was all giving undercover cop who doesn’t know what he was doing. Furthermore, someone who was actually there to cruise is gonna show you something, not just imply it with hand motions? Idk, I almost hope it was a cop and not a predator. What do you guys think?
