2018 crv Back up camera seal

2018 Honda CR-V

The seal in my back up camera is pretty bad. Every time it rains or snows, the water seaps inside and it stayed foggy no matter how well i wipe or dry it.

I thought I was able to just replace the seal but the honda dealership said id have to replace the whole back up camera.

I just want to fact check with you guys cause, as a female, im told bullshit all the time in shops.. especially dealerships.
