Local cat won’t stop coming to our home and it’s bothering my indoor cat.

Behavioral

We have an indoor cat and there’s a local cat who has an owner but he’s out a lot (all sorts of hours) and he has recently spotted my cat. My cat is male and the outdoor cat keeps meowing outside our home and he’s making my indoor cat very angry. My indoor cat keeps screeching at him, but the outdoor cat isn’t reacting and just keeps coming to our backdoor and just watching my cat. There has been times the outdoor cat has meowed outside our home and my cat hasn’t reacted.

It started on Monday and this outdoor cat keeps meowing outside our home. Our cat is a tabby male and the other cat is a ginger male.

Is there anything I can do to prevent or stop this from happening?

I am new to the area and feel uncomfortable appoarching the owner as I live on a big estate and I can’t really ask them to stop their cat from visiting as they have no control over this.

Thank you
