Cannot figure out what's going on - 2 years of insomnia
Hi there, per the title, I've been dealing with chronic insomnia since spring of 2024. I have tried everything. I know some of it is hormonal and i take progesterone at night that helps a bit but I still can't get perfectly settled. I sometimes wake up at 3 am, but most of the time just struggle with getting deep sleep. Got tested for sleep apnea and just had episodes on my back so I'm trying to sleep with pillow as a barrier to see if I can prevent myself from rolling over. I take magnesium glycinate and glycine at night. I take allegra because I have a dog that I'm semi allergic to. She sleeps on the floor. I eat pretty well, don't exercise too late. Sleep with my room at 65 degrees. I can never sleep well. Wake up with this tension band around my eyes that just feels like deep deep fatigue. I'm losing faith quickly. Anyone relate?
