Saying “Y’all” sounds forced

I get it if you’re country or southern, but people are trying so hard to use it instead of just saying “you”. City slickers say it, foreigners say it. I’m not the word police and I never really cared before but any video I watch is “y’all this and y’all that, y’alls’s this and that” it seems harder than just saying whatever word they are replacing!
