Is it to switch to CS

I’m in my second year of Mechatronics and lately I’ve realized I don’t see myself building a future in this field. The hardware/engineering side just doesn’t excite me the way software does.

I’m thinking about switching to Computer Science, but I’m worried about losing time and starting over. For anyone who’s made a similar switch — do you regret it or was it the right move?
