Bump start

hello, I have kawasaki zx6r 2007. after winter the battery died and now I tried to bump start, but when I move it into either 1st or 2nd gear to roll and pull the clutch it doesnt move, behaves as if clutch hasn't been pulled at all (its always been like that since I bought 4 years ago, just never needed to bump start before) any idea why? When engine is on, no issues at all
