How weird is it to want to date your fraternity brother?

I’m a pledge in a frat. I have a crush on one of my pledge brothers. He’s also gay so there’s a slight chance of something happening. He’s really cool, funny, sweet, etc. I liked him before I knew his name and now we’re sort of friends. What do I do? Do I do anything? Is that weird?
