Best 'Try Before You Buy' app on shopify?

Hello, I have tried a 'try before you buy' program with my current subscription app for my Shopify store, and it has worked great with increasing my conversion rate. However, because I'm only using my subscription app, I'm getting a lot of failed payments, which sucks because then I have to reach out to the customer to collect their payment after their trial is over.

Can anyone recommend an app that supports 'try before you buy' programs and pre-authorization holds on payments? It will be awesome if it was an app that I can also integrate with my subscription app, so technically the 'try before you buy' is on the first subscription order, and the customer can continue with the subscription moving forward after their trial is done.
