Other people with curly hair: how do you deal with helmet hair?

I have pretty relaxed curls (like 3c) but every time I go out for a ride I have to fluff my hair out again as soon as I get to where I'm going, otherwise it looks like I'm wearing an invisible helmet.

Other riders with curly hair/afros, what are you guys doing to get around helmet hair, if that's possible?
