Help! My friend is scaring me

So I'm currently stimming and my transfer is this weekend. My friend has been going through IVF for 3 years. She's about to start another retrieval cycle too. For context, I didn't tell her mine started yet lol long story but my mom is very superstitious and doesn't trust my friend. I told my friend what Gonal dosage I'm taking and she said that's a lot and may cause OHSS. She also said my doctor should have told me to do the shots at the exact same time every night. I was given a window of 5-9 and have tried to do it around the same time. My sister did the same and she has a baby. Everything is looking good for me so I'm trying to stay positive but I'm worried now and do what to do. Does anyone have any insight?
