PTSD C&P exam

Just recently filed for increase for PTSD, am rated 50% for it currently. My review exam was this afternoon, went very well. I was really concerned reading reviews of certain doctors but when I went in today it was another combat vet, but from army and not USMC. He was in 2003 whereas I went into the marines in 2005.

He asked me some basic questions like MOS and times I’ve been arrested since I got out. Admittedly I have been arrested many times mostly violent in nature and have had long documented history with alcohol and substances.

He told me he’d heard enough and then told me he would make sure I get an increase. It’s a huge relief and I’m just wondering what happens now? Do I just have to wait a few months and find out if I’ll get an increase or something? I have another review for another part of my body, right ankle, do I have to wait for that exam as well? They’re bundled together I think.
