Dry sore undereyes

I have randomly come out with sore dry undereyes that feels like some type of environmental eczema due to indoor heating, cold weather etc? I have a random patch under my left eye case to my lashline and I've been applying Vaseline to it at night but I'm just wondering if there's anything else I could be doing or using?
