Unusual suspects at the top of the JD Power Survey

Many of us here would keep away from Fords, Vauxhalls and Citroens, but after looking at this article and seeing all three making the top 10 of the JD Power Survey, it seems to go against what a lot of people say.

Is it mere snobbishness and these cars are actually decent? Or is the JD Power Survey not to be trusted?

I'm also conscious that those three brands also pop up at the other end of the list too...
