Hey Reddit — I'm Oliver Ma, and I'm running for Lieutenant Governor of California.

I'm truly honored to be California DSA's first statewide endorsement — and grateful for the support of the United Auto Workers (UAW). I don't take that trust lightly. To me, it's a signal that this campaign is about real people, real urgency, and real power — built from the ground up with working-class communities across California.

I'm running because California is at a breaking point. Rents are crushing families. Corporate landlords are buying up homes and locking out first-time buyers. Small businesses are struggling. Immigrant communities are under attack. And too many politicians are content with incremental change while people are hurting right now.

I believe housing is a human right. I believe workers deserve dignity and protection. I believe state should lead with courage — not caution — when it comes to justice, from our neighborhoods to the global stage.

This campaign isn't funded by corporate PACs. It's powered by volunteers, organizers, and everyday Californians who are tired of politics as usual and ready to build something better.

If you care about affordable housing, immigrant protections, economic fairness, and bold leadership that doesn't back down — I'd love to have you in this fight.
