Nightmares about ghost face

I am a huge fan of the Scream movies. I never really liked horror related movies but Scream never scares me. I usually laugh at the stupidity and move on about my day when I watch them. I literally BOUGHT Ghostface pajamas. Was planning to go see the new movie this weekend. But now for the past two nights I have had nightmares of Ghostface stabbing me. I am tucked into a corner and he walks up to me and stabs the knife through my chest. I never see the person behind the mask, or even what leads up to that happening. It just flashes to me being stabbed and it’s over. It’s very scary. I don’t understand why this is happenings or how I can get it to stop. Any advice would be appreciated!
