Why does spooky spoon go up to the screen so much

I just noticed in season 1 spooky Spoon literally goes straight up to the camera like she's watching you directly but then in season 2 she doesn't do that that much like am I tripping or is spooky Spoon like different in season 2 because you never goes up to the screen like that close maybe I'm just imagining it I don't know
