I’m really trying to understand this valley thing

So if we’re thinking of it like a valley or a canyon, is Andrew in the valley? Like the whole thing is called the Valley of Interest. It’s a destination. Like the Grand Canyon. And within that destination there are peaks and valleys. So the valley itself is the baseline of where he exists within the Valley. And if he’s in the valley existing with the things that he’s already interested in or actively doing, then there are things that divert his attention away from what he’s doing. Creating the peak in the graph/drawing he made. But if it’s not an immediate return on investment (ie. being met with a “waiting” screen) then he immediately leaves this peak and returns to the valley. So the valley of interest is his existence until something comes along that he maybe wants to engage in, but if it’s not immediately available he bails back to his comfort valley?
