Where are you within the salary range?

Joined Optum last year through an acquisition and now have some sort of pay transparency. With that, I've noticed I am at the very bottom of the salary range and after receiving the lackluster merit increase I'm feeling taken advantage of. I have been with the previous org for about 15 years and moved up over the years. In the same role for the past 7 that is a mix of niche independent stuff and supervisory of a decent sized team (about 15-20 people). I'm often referred to as a subject matter expert and have always received the equivalent of 4 and 5's on my reviews, but I realized I'm being paid what I'd expect of a new hire based on the range. Unfortunately I have a feeling that if I bring it up to my boss they'll just say I'm lucky to have a job cause they love that corporate kool-aid.
