Ban Talking?
One of the Room Leaders has gone away for a month and the difference in the room has been amazing. Children that used to hit, push, bite have mostly stopped and the day seems to be a lot smoother and calmer. I didn't realise how bad she was until she was gone. All she does is talk. Constantly, to the other adults. Its overwhelming and she's loud so all the children and other educators naturally raise their voice to be heard. Children are getting more attention, they don't have to yell to get their needs met, fights are stopped before they get physical. Does anyone have a "no talking" rule in their centre or room? How is it?
