My journey:

Started my weightloss journey at 255ish pounds. I started it “on my own” with no medicine. I hit 180 and stayed there for months, tired. I decided to begin semaglutide and made it down to 116lbs. I have since stopped the full dose of semaglutide. When I first went off, the food noise was crazy intense. I was eating and eating and nothing would satisfy it. I would eat endless salads (im talking multiple heads of iceberg lettuce) and all i could think about was food. I have since started doing low dose (about 0.25mg) and it is much more manageable. This will be a lifelong medicine for me, but that is okay. I’m healthy and happy and that’s what matters.  I have been reintroducing things back into my diet and have begun strength training. My clothes fit tighter (and I’m 132lbs, which is up from my lowest, but that is fine bc it’s muscle. I’m actually at 16% body fat, which is low. I need to gain fat lmao). My final step will be a tummy tuck, which I have scheduled for the summer. You can’t lose 100+ pounds and not need a tummy tuck. Apron belly is still alive and well, if a bit deflated. 

Advice: volume eat. My favorite trick when I was getting a craving (while on the medicine) was to have a big salad, cauliflower rice, or something similar. Then I would have my craving. It helped me keep it at one serving or less of the craving. Sometimes i didnt even want it anymore! If you have any other questions or want advice, I’m here to help.
