I repeatedly use the Object > Transform > Scale option to scale down the pattern inside a shape without scaling the shape itself. I need to uncheck the "Transform Objects" box almost every single time. For whatever reason, it will sometimes stay unchecked for a while, and then be always checked again. It bothers me because if I open the Scale box with my object selected, then have the uncheck Transform Objects, the pattern inside doesn't actually scale, even though the Transform Patterns box is still checked. I have to click OK, click away from the object, click the object again and go back into the Scale box. Is there a way to either 1) Make the Transform Objects box unchecked by default (I've googled and someone said to uncheck the box on the Scale tool without an object selected, but that didn't work) or 2) Make it so when I uncheck Transform Objects, the Transform Patterns actually works without me having to go out of the tool and back into it. If I'm starting a new project and the Scale tool is set to 100%, when I change the percentage then the pattern will scale - but when I use the tool a second time in the same project, the percentage stays set to 75% and the pattern doesn't scale. I've tried changing the percentage and then changing it back with the panel open, but it doesn't seem to work. Including a screenshot showing the issue and the solutions that I've tried.
