Alastor and the Need for Recognition

Alastor seeks remembrance, validation, and to maintain his status as a figure of power.

Lucifer: “Are you the bellhop?”

Alastor: “No! I am the host of the hotel. You might have heard of me from my radio broadcast.”

Lucifer: “Hmm. Nope!”

At the Overlords meeting, post his 7-year absence, Carmilla's indifference offended him:

Carmilla Carmine: *notices Alastor* “Alastor?”

Alastor: “Yes, I know I've been absent some time. I'm sure you've all been wondering!”

Carmilla Carmine: “...Not really. But welcome back in any case.”

*[Alastor looks offended.]*

His reaction to her dismissal of his return is one of offense, as if his absence should matter. He seeks remembrance, validation, and to maintain his status as a figure of power.
