Getting mad too easily at your kid

I’ve noticed lately my child will fight me on everything and anything. She always wants to defy what I say. gets mad when I punish her . And because of that, I get mad at her too quickly never physical cause I would never do that, but I yell a lot and I’m trying to stop that instantly cause I don’t wanna have a bad relationship with my kid as I did with my parents. What is everyone experience with getting mad too quickly at your child and how did you prevent it in the future?
