GPU Resoldering help

I recently got an rx580 from a friend because he quote:

"removed a capacitor from the board because it blew off"?!

but anyways, is it easy to resolder a broken gpu capacitor, and actually buying a new one

I would say i'm relatively a relatively advanced [PC] builder and I've soldered PC components before, however never a capacitor

if anyone has done this before I would appreciate some advice
