First of all, lace is grand mother Silks daughter. Obviously, grand mother silk thinks of her as a daughter, lace views her a mother back, Ect.

This is people’s biggest defense: ‘Weavers arent grand mother Silks actual children’.

What I say back:

Grand mother silk obviously viewed them as her children.

Some weavers like widow also viewed her as a mother back.

She didn’t ‘birth’ them, but she did create the weaver species by elevating the Pharlids. Even if a lot of weavers rejected her, they are still like her children. She still DID create them. Just not in the normal biological sense.

And Hornet, is a child of Herrah, a weaver.

Overall, It means Lace and Hornet are kinda connected. Grand mother silk also viewed Hornet as a Daughter/Grand daughter, and lace as a daughter. Lace also does acknowledge this when she calls Hornet ‘little spider’.

Shipping them, at least to me, feels very weird and I don’t like it. Feels like Hornet x knight all over again, except just not AS bad. I guess it is subjective, and there are arguments back against why it’s not weird, but to me personally, Lace x Hornet feels extremely weird. What are your thoughts?

It’s also kinda weird to me since Lace is mentally and physically a child, while Hornet is physically a child, but mentally, is obviously is a centuries old warrior

Am I the only one who thinks Lacenet is pretty weird?
