Recruiter told me it’s an “Elon Musk type of company” and Sundays are mandatory. Is a 6-day workweek even legal?

So I just interviewed for a role and only found out mid-process that it’s fully in-office, 5 days a week… plus mandatory Sundays. That’s a 6-day workweek baked into the job from day one.

The recruiter’s exact words: “It’s an Elon Musk type of company , it’s not for everyone, but yes, working Sundays is required.”

Genuinely asking is that even legal? And has anyone actually worked somewhere like this? Would love to hear real experiences before I make any decisions here.
