Protection jar leaking oli after months

My protection jar has just stared leaking out the olive oil i put in. And the wax seal is coming undone. Should i re seal it or make a new one? I feel like the jar has done what its needed to do.. But i dont know ehat to do with it now. Anyone have any ideas?
