Shoulder soreness serving
Been playing for a few years but have been playing organized matches for year and a half now, first doubles and now singles the last 8 months or so. That required me to learn how to serve properly, which I started working on last summer, had to master keeping a continental grip and then getting proper pronation which was the trickiest part for me. I learned to play doing drills/clinics where you don't or hardly ever serve.
Last Saturday I worked on my serve for about an hour just practicing and then had a flex league match later in the day. It felt like my serve is finally starting to click and I served great in my match 6-2 6-0 win but by the second set my shoulder started to feel it. My shoulder was quite sore for the next couple days after as well and I've never experienced that much soreness from serving. I don't know if it's my body getting used to the movement or if I should be concerned. Added context is I did have shoulder surgery for a torn labrum when I was 20 (I'm 30 now).
