Anyone up for an Age of Worms Campaign? [Looking For Players]

Promotion

I’m a dungeon master for about 15 years now, started out on 3.5 and it’s been a while since I’ve been able to find or convince my home table to do a game in the system. So, I’m looking to run an Age of Worms campaign, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in it?

I’ll have the game up on a separate website soon, and anyone is welcome to join! I just need to know what times would work best for people do I can set it on the website!

Here are the bits you probably want to know about below:

Cost: $5 per session (pay for roll20 and voicemod)

Starting Level: 1

Game Length: 3-4 Hours

Weekly Game Time: Most Likely Friday, anytime between 8am-4pm MST

Stats: Roll 4d6, drop the lowest for each stat, reroll 1s and 2s

Classes: Core, or setting-appropriate

Race: Core (Talk to me if you want something else)

Allowed Books: Core + Complete Series + Tome of Battle (Talk to me if you want something else)

Allowed Templates: None

Online Stuff Needed: Roll20 and Discord

Homebrew Rules:

A nat 20 in initiative lets you pick your place in imitative after hearing where your teammates go.

We use “I Know A Guy” Rules to help keep sessions running smoothly.

On a crit, the player gets to maximise one associated dice before rolling.

Spells with attack rolls can crit.

Monsters have additional abilities I feel makes sense: Cats and lions have 60ft of Darkvision, just like Tabaxi and tigers, Polar bears have cold resistance, so on.

Drinking a potion as a standard action grants full benefit, so full healing potential on a healing potion. Swift action, you need to roll.

No telling each other how much HP you have during combat. However, if you are below half, you are allowed to say that you’re bloodied.

I’m not gonna ask you to keep track of your ammunition or spell components underneath 25 gold pieces. However, every time the group goes on a shopping trip or you requested when you’re in a town, I’m going to charge you a “restocking fee” based on your level.

Feats can be given out as very specific quest rewards.

Being downed and brought back to >0 HP gives you a level of exhaustion.

Dying and then being resurrected will mean that you return with a random permanent effect, such as a loss of a limb, curse, or magical effect.

We use the Pathfinder: “Elephant In The Room” rules
