Half of my TCL TV screen is dark and flickers

Hi everyone,

I’ve had a TCL TV for about 5–6 years. One day, the left side of the screen started to look noticeably darker than the right side. After a while, that darker side began flickering as if the screen was turning off and on on that half only.

I took it to a TV repair shop and they fixed it. It worked fine for about a year, but then the same issue came back. I sent it to the repairer again. When I got it back, it seemed okay… but after a few hours the left side became dim again.

Has anyone else had this problem with their TCL TV? How was it resolved? Could it be a hardware issue like backlights, T-CON board, or something else?
