Best sunscreen recs for moving up to 0.05% tretinoin? ☀️

Routine Help

Hey everyone! I’m about to start using 0.05% tretinoin (I’ve been on retinal for the last 2 years after being on retinol for 3 years previous) and I wanted to crowdsource sunscreen recommendations from folks who’ve been there.

So far I’ve been using either Cetaphil SPF 50+ or Neutrogena Hydro Boost SPF 50 depending on which goes better with my makeup that day. I like both, but now that I’m bumping up to tretinoin I’m wondering if there’s anything else out there that might be even better suited?

My priorities are: • High broad spectrum protection • Doesn’t pill under makeup • Doesn’t irritate my skin • Works well with tretinoin use

If you’ve found a sunscreen that plays nicely with tretinoin or just love something that’s worked for you post-retinoid upgrade, I’d love to hear your recs! Thanks 😊🫡
