Question about luteal phase
As someone with PCOS, my periods are VERY irregular (35-70 day cycles, extremely light only 1-2 days long). I’ve been learning a lot about the characteristics/symptoms of each cycle phase to try and understand my confusing body and symptoms.
With that being said, does anyone know if, for example:
1.) if my cycle is 60 days long, am I just staying stuck in the awful luteal phase for weeks?
2.) If I never actually ovulate does my body even hormonally produce a “real” luteal phase?
3.) Can I only re-enter the follicular phase if I have a period, or do things reset if a period is missed…
I know this very dependent on the individual, but generally speaking can anyone help me out!
