Welp, it happened to me now.

My fiancee was lucky enough to get a Journey Together Booster bundle from the recent Pokemon Center queue about a week or so ago. The package went out for delivery yesterday and mysteriously never made it and the date changed to today, it arrived about an hour ago while I was at work. I get home and open it immediately because the box felt strangely light. It was empty, but they left the packing slip.

She's pissed, rightfully so, but now we're unsure of how to handle it properly and what outcome to even expect. Do we start with Pokemon Center or FedEx? Is a police report necessary for such a low value item?

What makes this all worse is she scored pretty big on the Perfect Order pre orders over a month ago, and is now paranoid that they will not make it too. This one sucked of course but we are only out the $30 if it isn't resolved. If the next one gets stolen it would be over $300. This isn't the first time we've ordered from PCenter either we no issues in the past, but I'm not sure if there is any measures I could take to try and prevent this from happening in the future or if it's just a complete gamble every time and a hands thrown up in the air with a "oh well"

Does anyone have success stories of how they handled it or "i wish i knew this before" tips on fixing the package theft or preventing it all together?
