Should I cancel this booking?

I booked a trip about a month ago for Vegas from March 13th-16th and I bought a package to stay at the Strat through Allegiant Air. I didn’t do research until afterwards on the hotel and now I’m seeing that the Strat is super ghetto and I’m not trying to get robbed while I’m there. This trip is going to be with a friend , we’re both males and 21. The issue with canceling the trip is that I don’t think I’ll get a refund on the trip. Is it worth it to lose money and book another trip at a different hotel, I got trip flex, but you only get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of purchase so I don’t know how much I’d get back. I also thought the Strat was on the strip and that I’d be able to just walk around the strip but now I see that is not the case. what do you guys think?
