Did they ever fix Ducal Prussia?

Haven't played in a long time. I remember their implementation of Ducal Prussia was really shitty (it wasn't even a monarchy, they just changed Danzig's name) which sort of peeved me since I like to follow a 'historical' roadmap when I play, especially in regards to European nations. Did they ever make the Peace of Thorn event do what it was actually supposed to, or do I have to get my event-coding hands dirty?
