Adaptive charging, how to force it to speed up?!?

I get up at around 6-7am and find my phone is only 80 percent charged due to adaptive charging. I don't want to turn the feature off, but at the same time would like to wake up with a 100 percent charge. I've tried the trick where you set a silent alarm an hour before you wake up, it works, however I end up with a bright screen that wakes me up.

Anyone else have any tips on how to force adaptive charging to charge that last twenty percent?
