New Apple TV purchase posts… now live in a Megathread!

Hey folks,

We love the enthusiasm. Truly. There’s nothing wrong with being excited about a new Apple TV. It’s a sleek little black box of unlimited possibilities!

That said… we don’t need 17 separate posts a day announcing, “Just bought an Apple TV!” with a picture of the box on a kitchen counter next to your cat.

To keep the subreddit focused on actual discussion, troubleshooting, features, updates, and news, we created a dedicated megathread for new Apple TV purchases.

Effective immediately:

• All “Just bought an Apple TV!” posts belong in the megathread.

• Individual announcement posts will be removed.

• Setup help, impressions are welcome inside the megathread.

We’re not trying to kill the vibe. We’re just trying to keep the feed usable for everyone. If you just joined the Apple TV family, welcome. Drop your excitement (and questions) in the megathread.

Thanks for understanding and helping keep the sub clean and useful.
