Where do you quickly put your vita in after a quick session on the bus?

Non native english speaker here.

So I usually play my vita indoors, I have a case to carry around my vita from point A to point B and everything is good. So there's no rush and put my vita inside the case after a session.

On the other hand, I've been using my 3DS while I'm on the bus and when I have to go I just fold the 3DS and put it in my pocket, something that I couldn't do with the vita because of the analog sticks.

So, people who play on the bus, do you put your vitas inside your pockets when you have to get off the bus?, do you take your time before you get off to put it on the case? Is there something I could attach my vita with to just protect the analog sticks and screen quickly and put it on my pockets?
