Gotham Knights Isn’t Perfect, But It’s Way Better Than Its Reputation

Gotham Knights isn’t perfect. There are some rough edges but after 8 hours I can honestly say it’s way better than its reputation. As a Batman fan who’s finished all Arkham games including Origins, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this RPG style Bat Family adventure but it’s fresh, challenging, and truly satisfying.

Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, Red Hood each character feels unique and fun to play. Combat is tactical, the story is strong, big enemies feel earned and this game does NOT deserve the hate.

If you’re worried it’s “not Batman enough” give it a shot. It’s a different kind of Bat experience and I’m enjoying every minute of it.
