Confused about playing Resident Evil 9

So I have never played any resident evil games including the remakes. The main reason being the games were very expensive for me to afford and by the time the game was in sale I got spoiled or I had already watched the Game movie on YouTube.

I did not know RE9 was releasing till now when all YouTube feed is filled with gameplay. I just saw the price and it's expensive but I can afford it unlike when I was a student.

the question is should I get it or no. will I enjoy it. I liked the story and cutscenes from previous games. I am just worried the gameplay will get boring.

is it a worth playing game?
