Had a job offer rescinded due to an injury from an accident, what options do I have at this point?

Advice

I’ll try to be somewhat brief, but I had a job for 3.5 years and saw a new career opportunity. I applied, interviewed, got the job and signed my offer letter. Put in two weeks notice at my old job and all was well. Then one week before I was to start this new job, I unfortunately broke my wrist. New job decided to delay my start date until I had more information. Went to the doctor and was informed I’d need surgery and I’d be non-weight bearing with that arm for 6-10 weeks. I informed the new job of this immediately, I offered to come in and do my training or any light duty they had post surgery. They took awhile to get back to me due to mistakes on their end, but about two weeks after that, they made the decision to rescind my job offer saying I needed both of my arms to be able to begin training/working.

Filed for unemployment and ended up getting DENIED for reasons I don’t fully understand yet. I live in Colorado if that helps. I understand you can’t receive unemployment if you are unable to work, but I AM able to work and filed for the time weeks after my surgery where I am able to work. I filed an appeal, but other than that what rights do I have? Or like did this job that rescinded the offer do anything wrong? I know Colorado is an at will state but I really got fucked/unlucky here and now I don’t even qualify for unemployment? I am actively looking for jobs and have been all of February. Just obviously put me in quite the pinch financially especially when I figured I’d eventually receive my unemployment.
