Smoke smell affect grades?

I bought a rare collection of vintage cards. These are legit in near mint condition the only issue I’m worried about is they come from a collector who would smoke cigarettes. They have a very faint smoky mold smell, but they are in very good condition. I want to send them in for grading, I’m just wondering if anyone had experience with how this would affect the over all grades themselves?
