Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I've seen some other threads about HireArt on here and wanted to get some perspective. I applied for a job on Indeed that wasn't from a HireArt profile, but rather a generic "autonomous mobility company." This is a similar field I worked in before getting laid off last year, which is why I applied in the first place. So it's like a random text for a job that seems too good to be true that has nothing to do with my work experience.

The very next day, I received an email from a recruiter claiming to be from HireArt, saying they are hiring for this role at Zoox, to move forward with the hiring process, I would need to send a picture of my license and take a typing test.. She also mentioned the hours.. seemed completely reasonable for the job position. What stood out to me was the extremely fast response time it feels rare nowadays. Being unemployed and applying for jobs daily, I rarely get a response from half of them. I haven't replied or sent anything yet. I Googled the recruiter and more about the company. I found the recruiter’s LinkedIn. It seems legit and her profile says she is hiring for similar roles I applied for. Here's the thing, I also found an official post from the HireArt LinkedIn page from 5 months ago warning about scams. It gave examples of official email domains, and the recruiter’s email address actually matches their "legit" list. However, I’m still paranoid because of past experiences with job scams. The LinkedIn post provided a security email address to verify outreach, so I forwarded the recruiter's email to them yesterday to see if they could confirm if I'm in their system. I haven't heard back from the security team or the recruiter yet.

The recruiter is asking for a copy of my driver’s license and a typing test via a generic website link. I’ve never had to send my license via email or take a typing test before even having an initial interview, but maybe this is standard for HireArt or Zoox?

I’ve included the initial email, some info is (redacted) because again, I'm paranoid. Here is a link to the company’s post warning about scams if anyone was curious.

Has anyone had similar experiences with HireArt or getting jobs at Zoox? Is this normal for their process?

Appreciate any advice!

Is this HireArt recruiter outreach legit?
