When I got diagnosed and started meds I thought my only option was to go downhill from there. It turned out not to be true as some symptoms improved dramatically with time.
If you saw another option, to bet on yourself early and work and get shit done through the symptoms, how did it go?
I assume the strategy is to flip the order of operations, instead of rest first it's get the life work done first, rest later? Reduces opportunity cost and puts the locus of control back on you, I'm inclined to believe it could work seeing firsthand how much employment or structure in your life can help.
