Downy Rinse & Refresh (Free & Gentle) Smells Like Turpentine?

Is this what it's supposed to smell like, or did this either go bad or get switched out for something noxious? It essentially smells strongly like turpentine, despite being the clear "Free & Gentle" version of Downy Rinse & Refresh. Thanks for advice!
